What if Oruo's Questions were Wrong? (2024)

How many total Fairy Souls are there?

Like the previous one, there is a set answer; this time, the answer is 247 (for now). Also like the previous one, it could easily be checked with /quests or looking at quests in the SkyBlock Menu.

If the other choices were correct, Fairy Souls would be removed or added to random islands. This'd have a massive effect on the forever ongoing quest, even in The Rift and The Catacombs. Adding Fairy Souls to existing islands happens once in a while for a major update, although removing them from random islands without compensation would be a bit too chaotic. Fairy Souls are quantum now. May Tia the Fairy have mercy on your (non-fairy) soul.

What is the status of (Catacombs Boss)?

In total, the Catacombs Boss options are:

  • Bonzo
  • Scarf
  • Thorn
  • Livid
  • Sadan
  • Maxor, Storm, Goldor, and Necron

The respective answers for each are:

  • New Necromancer
  • Apprentice Necromancer
  • Shaman Necromancer
  • Master Necromancer
  • Necromancer Lord
  • The Wither Lords

"Professor" and "Stalker" are also thrown in as answers, although The Professor and The Watcher are not chosen as a Catacombs Boss.

It'd be pretty funny to see Professor Sadan turn into a fish only to get smitten by Scarf (also known as the final Wither Lord of the group composed of Scarf, Scarf, Scarf, and Scarf). It'd also be kind of funny to leave Maxor's, Storm's, Goldor's, and Necron's room where they summon Undeads and go to the boss room where master necromancer Thorn make clones using the orb from the deceased shaman necromancer Livid. Maybe the party will enter a long hallway, eventually fighting a giant belonging to Bonzo.

The possibilities with this one are... not endless, but plentiful enough for lots of creative fan art, jokes, and what-if scenarios to come from it.

Which of these monsters only spawns at night?

There are multiple correct answers (monsters that only spawn at night). The mobs that spawn at night are:

  • Zombie Villager (slightly faster and stronger Graveyard Zombie)
  • Ghast (flying menace in Blazing Fortress/Crimson Isle)

The mobs that do not spawn at night (incorrect) are:

  • Zombie Horse (skin for Skeleton Horse Pet)
  • Slime (spawned by Slime Minion)
  • Night Spider (not a real thing)
  • Skeleton (common mob that spawns any time of day)
  • Zombie (common mob that spawns any time of day)
  • Wither Skeleton (spawns in Blazing Fortress/Crimson Isle)

If these had to be switched around, Zombie Villagers and Ghasts would only spawn during the day instead. Graveyard Zombies (now renamed Zombies) only spawn at night. Skeletons (also known as Respawning Night Skeletons) now spawn in Unincorporated Territory at night, and Gravel Skeletons only spawn at night now as well. Zombie Horse could fit as a night-exclusive Spooky Festival mob that sprints at people and deals melee damage, kind of like a larger Trick or Treater mob.

Night Slimes could probably be a thing in Spider's Den, separate from Rain Slimes. While we're on the topic of Spider's Den, also add Night Spiders that burn and die during the day.

My idea for implementing Wither Skeleton at night will be mentioned in the question

Which of these enemies does not spawn in the Spider's Den?

This also has multiple correct answers (enemies that do not spawn in Spider's Den). The mobs that do not spawn there (correct) are:

  • Wither Skeleton (spawns in Blazing Fortress / Crimson Isle)
  • Broodfather (like Tarantula Broodfather)
  • Dashing Spooder (misspelling of Dasher Spider)
  • Cave Spider (...this is just plain wrong)

The mobs that do spawn there (incorrect) are:

  • Broodmother (top of the nest)
  • Voracious Spider (highest health/damage of the normal spiders)
  • Silverfish (2 from Splitter Spiders and one shot at a time from Jockey Skeletons)
  • Dasher Spider (regular, non-Dungeons spider that does long leaps at people)
  • Weaver Spider (regular spider that shoots out a low-damage web attack)
  • Skeleton (also known as Gravel Skeleton)
  • Splitter Spider (regular spider that turns into two Silverfish on death)
  • Rain Slime (slime that spawns during rain/thunderstorms)
  • Jockey Skeleton (spider jockey from vanilla minecraft that shoots Silverfish and arrows)

First of all, Cave Spider ALREADY SPAWNS IN SPIDER'S DEN. Three of them spawn whenever Broodmother is killed. Also, Broodfather sort of already spawns in Spider's Den; it's called Tarantula Broodfather from a Slayer Quest.

Dashing Spooder can probably just be a parody on Dasher Spiders that dashes backwards when they spot a player. Wither Skeleton could be the Blazing Fortress version given a chance to spawn in place of Gravel Skeletons during a Thunderstorm-- at night!

As for the removal, here's a very solid idea: just bring back the old Spider's Den as "Spooder's Den". This island connects from the Hub's Graveyard to Spider's Den (which also has a Combat 1 requirement). All of the old Spider's Den mobs (and Rain Slime) are moved to Spooder's Den.

Which of these is not a dragon in The End?

The seven dragons in The End are Protector, Old, Young, Strong, Wise, Unstable, and Superior.
Some examples given that are supposed to be incorrect include:

  • Holy Dragon (exists only as a Dragon Armor set)
  • Boomer Dragon
  • Weak Dragon
  • Older Dragon
  • Booger Dragon
  • Stable Dragon
  • Professor Dragon

In this wrong-and-right swap scenario, the 7 dragons from The End get picked from randomly in Phase 3 of the Professor's boss fight. That's right, he turns into a DRAGON now. Placing eight Summoning Eyes in Dragon's Nest now spawns one of these seven new dragons.

Holy Dragon

12,000,000 Health, 1,100 Damage, 25 Defense, 1.4 Speed, 40 Fly Height
"These Dragons showed that not just endermen could be zealots of the Queen."
Holy Dragons have slightly more health than normal and regenerate 0.2% of their max Health per second (even when disconnected from all End Crystals). They have the same loot pool as the others, except with Holy Dragon Armor and Holy Dragon Fragments. These items already exist, so not much else can be said about these dragons.

Boomer Dragon

9,000,000 Health, 2,200 Damage, 25 Defense, 1.4 Speed, 40 Fly Height, +10% Contact Damage
"These Dragons aren't a zoomer, embracing the destructive nature of the Queen."
Boomer Dragons are like a mix between a Strong Dragon and the Master Mode VII Power Dragon. It has a new attack where it flies near the center of Dragon's Nest and drops a large TNT that does the same damage as Lightning Strike. This dragon always activates Implosion on death (which counts towards the secret achievement). The loot is similar to Unstable Dragon (including the Travel Scroll), except with Boomer Dragon Fragments and Boomer Dragon Armor.

The full set has +20 Crit Damage and +40 Strength. Its full set ability generates an explosion dealing 50,000 base explosive damage to all enemies within 4 blocks whenever you get hit (with a 1s cooldown). The ability does not work on Private Islands nor while classified as AFK. Attacks that kill the user still summon an explosion. (It's comparable to a full set version of Creeper Pants.)

Weak Dragon

7,500,000 Health, 1,100 Damage, 1.5 Speed, 30 Fly Height, -20% Contact Damage
"The frailest of the Dragons, cursed with glass bones."
Weak Dragons are lower-flying but faster dragons with lower health and absolutely no defense. They are a lot less likely to use abilities. They drop Weak Dragon Fragments and Weak Dragon Armor.

The full set has +100 Intelligence, +20% Crit Chance, and only +50 Defense instead of +500. Its full set ability gives +10% of most stats (like Superior Dragon Armor) if there are no other players within 12 blocks.

Older Dragon

18,000,000 Health, 1,100 Damage, 11 Defense, 1.2 Speed, 20 Fly Height
"They are even slower but even more healthy, as Dragons never stop growing."
Older Dragons have even more health and even less speed than Old Dragons. They have similar loot to Old Dragons, except they drop Older Dragon Fragments and Older Dragon Armor instead.

The full set has +550 Health instead of +450. Its full set ability multiplies the effect of Growth, Protection, Feather Falling, Sugar Rush, and True Protection by 2.5x.

Booger Dragon

9,000,000 Health, 1,100 Damage, 25 Defense, 1.4 Speed, 40 Fly Height, +20% Skill Damage
"Even mythical beings come down with a common cold."
Booger Dragons are sick dragons. It adds a new attack replacing its rush attack, where it shoots out tons of green particles that inflict Venomous IV, Poison IV, Wither II, and ignites the targets. They have one additional item added to the loot pool with similar weight to Travel Scroll to the Dragon's Nest called Burning Snot.

This item is a Reforge Stone applicable only to Aspect of the Dragons. The stats added are +, The reforge buffs the sword's ability damage by 50% (multiplicative) and poisons, applies venom to, and ignites foes.

There's also Booger Dragon Armor and Booger Dragon Fragments. The full set has +350 Health instead of +450 and +12 Speed. Its full set ability reduces Mending, Vitality, and Health Regen by 25% but increases Ability Damage by +10% (+10) and damage dealt by Fire Aspect and Venomous by +50% (additive).

Stable Dragon

9,000,000 Health, 1,100 Damage, 25 Defense, 1.4 Speed, 40 Fly Height
"The most distant Dragons from the Queen. Her raw power can drive any dragon insane."
Stable Dragons don't have much special going for them. They use the regular abilities most other dragons have. The only difference is the loot table has Stable Dragon Fragments and Stable Dragon Armor.

The full set has +450 Health, +500 Defense, +25 Strength (helmet only), and +20% Bonus Attack Speed. Its full set ability prevents Health, Defense, Strength, and Speed reductions other than changes in each stat's cap.

Professor Dragon

28,000,000 Health, 2,200 Damage, 50 Defense, 1.8 Speed, 65 Fly Height, +15% Contact Damage, +15% Skill Damage
"Legends say these Dragons work harder than a Wither now."
A Professor Dragon is the rarest dragon, guaranteed to spawn if seven or more Recombobulated Summoning Eyes are used in Dragon's Nest to spawn a dragon. It does not have Rush and Fireball, and Call for Help becomes a passive ability for this dragon. Professor Dragons have new abilities: Giga Heal, TNT Rain, and Focus Beam. Their loot table is similar to Superior Dragon's, except with Professor Dragon Fragments and Professor Dragon Armor.

The full set has +60 Strength, +60 Intelligence, and +515 Health (instead of +350). Its full set ability increases the armor's stats by 0.4% per Catacombs level (to a maximum of +20% stats at Catacombs 50). This full set bonus works even outside of Dungeons.

How many unique minions are there?

The correct answer is 59. This is because Oruo does not call them "unique minion crafts" like the Minion Slots unlock text does. Removing entire minion types would be catastrophic depending on the Minion, although adding new Minion types (like Netherrack, Fusion, etc.) would be cool.

What is the name of the person that upgrades pets?

The correct answer is Kat.
Some incorrect answers include:

  • Bea
  • George
  • Zog
  • Jamie
  • Meg

I'd imagine some sort of role swap happens there. With the first three, the roles of the people within the same house get shuffled around. Jamie being a pet caretaker instead of a Rogue Sword gifter would be quite the change. (Hopefully Kat has infinite Rogue Swords to spare!) Meg is a completely unique character to SkyBlock as far as I know. It'd be cool if a future update had Meg as a shark NPC that talks about Sharks.

What is the name of the lady of the Nether?

The correct answer is Elle.
Sone incorrect answers include:

  • Belle
  • Mel
  • Nell
  • Shell
  • Ellie

It'd be very interesting to see these new characters rhyming with Elle get added into SkyBlock! Also, it seems that one alternative universe travelling Livid and his (not) girlfriend Ellie could not escape the bounds of the all-seeing Oruo. If Ellie was the lady of the Nether, the player would probably have to help the Blazes fight her instead.

Which brother is on the Spider's Den?

The correct answer is Rick.
Some incorrect answers include:

  • Patrick (both brothers' names combined)
  • Pat (the other brother)
  • Richard (Stonks Auction guy; in some ways, a long form of Rick)
  • Reggie
  • Don (Expresso?)
  • Paul (the Dungeons mayor)

If Pat and Rick swapped, Bobpants Spongesquare's best friend's name would become Rickpat Sea. His name's probably not Pat. Giving someone two Iron Ingots for a Stock of Stonks sounds like quite the trade, although paying 2,000,001 coins for a Promising Shovel sounds like a total ripoff. Meanwhile, Reggie would be a new NPC like Meg. If Rick was a new Dwarven Mines event, would people have to give him... Tasty Iron? Iron Ingots? Would giving Don 20 Enchanted Flint give you Heart of the Mountain XP and Mithril Powder? Curious questions indeed.

Mayor Rick

"[NPC] Candidate Rick: Hey, could you use some help? I made a strudy Promising Shovel, and I have the right ingredients to make new ones."
Rick is a new mayor candidate centered around Promising Shovels. He runs for office with three possible perks:

  • Shovel Promise: Mayor Rick is giving everyone a free Promising Shovel!
  • Promising Luck: Using a Promising tool grants a small chance to find rare drops!
  • Shovels of Fortune: All shovel items grant +15✯ Magic Find and increase the amount of drops by +1!

Shovel Promise is simple: like the Scorpius Bribe, you can talk to Mayor Rick (or Minister Rick if he has that as his minister perk) to get a free Promising Shovel! You don't even have to vote for him to get one! You can't get this anywhere else (except crafting)!

Promising Luck grants a small chance to get different items while using a Promising Pickaxe, Promising Shovel, Promising Axe, or Promising Hoe. These items include:

  • 0.1% chance to get Enchanted materials from mining (1/1000, similar to Refined reforge's ability but also on shovels)
  • 0.25% chance to get Enchanted Wood from foraging (1/400)
  • 0.1% chance to get Enchanted crops from farming (1/1000)
  • 0.133% chance to get a Refined Mineral from mining ores (1/750)
  • 0.0333% chance to get a Glossy Gemstone from mining gemstones (1/3000)
  • +0.01% chance to get Cropie from farming wheat/potatoes/carrots (1/10000)
  • +0.005% chance to get Squash from farming pumpkins/melons/cocoa beans (1/20000)
  • +0.002% chance to get Fermento from farming sugar cane/mushrooms/cacti/nether warts (1/50000)
  • 1/175000 chance to get Burrowing Spores from farming mushrooms (an increase from the default rate of 1/250000)
  • 1/1000000 chance to get Double Enchanted materials from mining (Enchanted Diamond Block, Enchanted Red Sand Cube, etc.)
  • 1/250000 chance to get Double Enchanted crops from farming (Enchanted Hay Bale, Polished Pumpkin, etc.)
  • 1/1000000 chance to get Tightly-Tied Hay Bale from farming wheat (only wheat has a triple enchanted form)
  • 1.002x drop rates for Strawberry Dye, Mango Dye,

Shovels of Fortune increases Magic Find on Midas Staff, Aspect of the Void, and all other shovels by +15, adds 1 to all base drops from mobs killed by a Midas Staff, Aspect of the Void, Aspect of the Leech, or other shovel item, and increases Global Fortune (even for non-ores) by +100 for Midas Staff, Aspect of the Void, and all other shovel items.

If Rick swapped with Patrick, the entire universe would generate a portal to itself and cause severe irreversable Rift shenanigans.

Which villager in the Village gives you a Rogue Sword?

The correct answer is Jamie.
Some incorrect answers include:

  • Jonathan (starts with J)
  • Jack (the villager that talks about Stats in your SkyBlock Menu; starts with J)
  • Leo (the villager that talks about Collections and Leaflet Armor)
  • Tom (the villager that gives you the Promising Axe recipe)
  • Jimmie (sounds very similar to Jamie)

Jonathan and Jimmie are potentially-cool new characters. The rest are other villagers in the Hub. It'd be kind of funny to get a Rogue Sword recipe from Tom, or a collection for its recipe mentioned by Leo, alternatively a mention of Rogue Sword increasing the Speed stat before being gifted it by Jack.

What is the name of the Painter in the Hub?

The correct answer is Marco.
Some incorrect answers include:

  • Paolo (reference to Paolo Veronese, an Italian painter in the 1500s)
  • Minikloon (former admin at Hypixel)
  • Marcel (there's quite a few artists by this name; Marcel is similar to Marco)
  • Ricardo (there's quite a few artists by this name)
  • Antonio (reference to Antonio DeVity, an Italian painter in the 1900s)
  • Flavio (either a reference to a Brazillian-Japanese artist or I need to research name origins in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door)
  • Lorenzo (possibly a reference to Lorenzo Quinn, a sculptor)
  • Valentino (possibly a reference to Valentino Dixon, a modern-day artist)
  • Enrico (there's quite a few artists by this name)
  • Ezio (Assassin's Creed reference?)
  • Bernardo (I am looking up "artist {incorrect answer}" way too many times)
  • Pedro (see above)
  • Mario (a super reference that pairs well with Flavio; Mario is one letter off of Marco)
  • Claudio (why are there so many artists listed)
  • Damiano (is the Artist's Abode project going to introduce all of these artists to SkyBlock)
  • Angelo (this might be a reference to the artist Michelangelo)
