Tip: you can also export the stems of your melody before arranging the whole loop so its stays as audio and you can edit those tails and clicks before cooking the whole arrangement

Most thing i hate about loops is when someone hasn't cut it, just record many melodies in one loop instead of separate.

Lots of gems but i don’t fully agree with that bass lines shouldn’t be in loops, it adds the feeling to loop that someone can carry on or make their own bassline. That’s not huge deal & I personally rarely use 808 basses in loops, mostly its synth basses which can be used for bridges or intros. Thank you for your tutorial! ❤️

Guys one little tip: do not clip/limit your loop (as hard as you would clip your kick for example) because it will destroy the dynamic range of your loop. Mastering is cool but keep a dynamic range within you individual stems. :)

I just watched another guy the other day and he said something about how artist tend to skip or classify loops as being boring within the first 5 seconds of listening but for whatever reason are more likely to be used if a baseline is included in the loop. Through experience would you say that could be true or that its straight horse 💩?

Do not increase the volume of your loop let the engineer do it once you place a limit on top of your loop it Glooze all the sound together but guess what your Loop doesn’t have drums in it you only have sounds you want all of that stuff to be glued together hom*ogenously in other words if you increase the volume you will sound Play the drums and vocals aren’t in the same song compared to the loop which trust me it makes a big difference for obtaining clarity out of mix

bro why you so mad at bass in the loop. Sometimes they can make better bass line than you especially in melodic or detroit loops
