Just like in the base game, you can duplicate the Boss Remembrances you earn in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. By doing this, you can get two rewards per Remembrance, instead of the only one you'd normally get when speaking to the Twin Maiden Husks in the Roundtable Hold.

However, there are no Wandering Mausoleums in Elden Ring's DLC, so let's explore what other option you have in the Shadow Realm.

What is a Boss Remembrance?

First of all, we have to explain what is a Remembrance. This is a drop from certain bosses that give you some lore information about the characters and the chance to exchange the Remembrance itself for a unique weapon, spell, or equipment related to that boss.

You make the exchange with the Twin Maiden Husks, one of the most important NPCs in the whole game. You can find them in the Roundtable Hold (the main hub), in the room with the Fingers.

The tricky part is that most Remembrances have two possible items, and you can only choose one. This is where the possibility of duplicating a Remembrance comes in handy.

How to Duplicate Boss Remembrances in Shadow of the Erdtree

In the base Elden Ring, you have the Wandering Mausoleums, these huge moving creatures that you need to "take down" to be able to enter inside their altar and use the coffin that allows the duplication.

On the other hand, in the DLC you don't have to bother with taking down anything: the coffins are just outside in the open in certain locations (check the last sections of this guide), waiting to be found.

Once you get near one, interact with it and a window showing all the Remembrances you have gained will pop up. Select the one you want to be duplicated and that's it. Go back to the Twin Maiden Husks and you'll be able to get the second item.

Some details to keep in mind:

• You don't need to have the Remembrance in your inventory to duplicate it, but you need to have earned it at one point. For example, if you had the Remembrance of the Twin Moon Knight and you already used it to get Rellana's swords, when you reach the coffin you can still see the Remembrance in the list.
• You can use the Wandering Mausoleums from the base game to duplicate any of the new Remembrances — if you haven't used them already, of course.
• You can also use the new coffins to duplicate Remembrances from the base game.
• Just like with the Mausoleums, you can only use the new coffins once.

It's worth mentioning that not every boss you find in the Shadow Realm will drop a Remembrance. Only the "most important ones" do. Here are the ten bosses in Shadow of the Erdtree that drop Remembrances:

Coffin Location in Finger Ruins of Rhia

Probably the first one you'll be able to find, you first need to reach the Cerulean Coast. Here's a complete guide on how to reach this zone.

Once here, you need to reach the southeast area of the coast. You can do so by riding Torrent forward, in a straight line, until you get past the Ghostflame Dragon and the Map Fragment.

As you reach the border of the area, turn left and go around the sea, on the proper coast, until you can't advance anymore. You'll find one of the huge coffins on your left, close to the wings of a fallen dragon. Jump into the coffin, climb it, and you'll find the entrance to the ruins on your right.

Once here, you'll find a Site of Grace. Keep moving forward, and when you find a fork, follow the road on the right. Beware of the small and big hands roaming around, though.

As you go past the huge fingers on the ground, turn left when you start seeing trees. The coffin will be close by.

Coffin Location in the Cathedral of Manus Metyr

For this one, you have to reach the Church District in Scadu Altus. This is the east region of the area, and it requires a bit of exploring.

Start from the Moorth Ruins (east of the Highroad Cross Site of Grace), descend through the hole here, and start going forward. You'll end up in Bonny Village, and you need to go past it to start reaching the Church District.

Once you find the Church District Highroad Site of Grace (for reference, this is east of the Ruins of Unte in the Castle Watering Hole), just follow the left main road. You'll end up in front of the Cathedral of Manus Metyr.

Instead of entering the building, go around it from the left side. You'll find some enemies, but you can ignore them entirely. As you reach the back side of the cathedral, turn right and you'll see the coffin.

Coffin Location in Finger Ruins of Dheo

For the last coffin, you need to find the secret entrance to Hinterland. This is achieved by reaching the Shadow Keep, Back Gate Site of Grace, and entering the room on the right, with the big Marika Statue. Here you need to perform the O Mother gesture and a secret passage will open.

Here, move northeast and past the Hinterland Bridge. Keep going east and you'll find the Fingerstone Hill Site of Grace.

Move east a bit more and you'll have to descend to where a group of hands is roaming around. Go past them, reach the ground level, and then turn left. Advance north, until the edge of the map, and you'll find the coffin near some huge fingers and more hands.
